How is Dearly Departed different from my website? +

Your website serves families who already know you. Dearly Departed helps families compare options in a clear, standardized format before they reach out. When they contact you, they’ve already reviewed your services and pricing and chosen you intentionally. It’s not a replacement — it’s an additional, high-intent pipeline.

How much does it cost to be listed? +

Early partner pricing is intentionally generous. You only pay for qualified, high-intent introductions, not impressions or casual inquiries.

What will I actually need to do to participate? +

Very little. When a family selects your business and specific services, we send you a detailed introduction. You can accept or decline based on your availability.

Will I have to change my pricing or services? +

No. You retain full control over your pricing, offerings, and brand. We simply provide visibility and connection.

What if a family selects my business and we aren’t available? +

You can accept or decline each introduction. Future updates will allow providers to set availability preferences directly within the platform.

How will this help my company get exposure? +

Families may discover Dearly Departed online or through hospice providers, chaplains, death doulas, and other trusted local professionals. We expand your visibility beyond your existing website and referral network.

What types of providers can join? +

We are building a trusted Austin-based network that may include funeral homes, cremation providers, memorial venues, celebrants, end-of-life planners, grief support professionals, and florists. If you provide services that support families during end-of-life planning, we’d love to connect.
